What this site collects, and what it does not.

Short version: only what you type into the enquiry form, used only to reply to you, deleted whenever you ask.

Who this is

Alex Website Automations, an independent one-person studio operating remotely from Australia. Contact: alexliwebsiteautomation@gmail.com.

What is collected

  • What you type into the enquiry form Your name, email, and message, plus phone, business name, current website, project type and timeline if you choose to fill them in.
  • Standard server logs Kept by the host, including IP address, browser user agent and a timestamp. These are generated by the hosting platform, not by me, and are used for security and diagnostics.

Why

To read your enquiry, reply to it, and quote the work. Nothing else. Your details are not added to a mailing list, not used for advertising, and not sold or passed to anyone for their own purposes.

Who else sees it

  • The email delivery provider The enquiry is delivered to my inbox through a third-party transactional email service. It passes through their systems in order to reach me.
  • The hosting provider Netlify or Vercel, which serves the site and keeps the server logs described above.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no embedded third-party content, which is why there is no consent banner asking you to accept anything. Fonts are served from this site rather than fetched from Google. If analytics is ever added, this page will be updated before it goes live.

How long it is kept

Enquiry emails are kept while the conversation is live, and afterwards as an ordinary business record. If we do not end up working together and you would rather it was not kept, say so and I will delete the thread.

Your rights

Email me to ask what is held about you, to have something corrected, or to have it deleted. There is no form for this and no account to log into. One email is enough.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The enquiry form is validated on the server, rate limited, and screened with a hidden honeypot field to drop automated spam. No payment details, card numbers or identity documents are ever collected through this website.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version replaces this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
